This is an AU of a crossover verse wherein Charlie McGee becomes an Avenger after some time and is adopted by Clint.

IN THIS AU;

because I watched a trailer for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

Charlie takes the place of Gretel and Barton takes the place of Hansel. They are part of a traveling circus. When Charlie was younger, she was kidnapped by a witch that had been plaguing a nearby village. Not wanting to lose his adopted sibling, a younger Clint (cant_miss) goes off and...gets his dumb self trapped with the witch, too. They try to escape together and, angered, the witch scratches Charlie's face from right temple to left cheekbone.

This sets the younger girl off enough where her pyrokinesis kicks in and she used it against the witch.

They told their 'family' that they shoved the witch in her own oven and when the traveling circus crew found out about Charlie's ability, they trained her to be a firedancer (because why not?).

Now older, she and her brother travel with the circus from village to village, hunting witches still.

And they're damn good at it.
